Community Involvement

A community is like a family; it must be supported and nurtured to experience healthy, sustainable growth. We believe that our community requires a solid foundation upon which to build a future, so we are committed to making a difference by caring for its members and fostering a sense of continued civic responsibility.

Northwestern Mutual proudly sponsered the "4Kay Run" on Saturday, April 5th 2014.  The race was a 4k in tandem with the NCAA Women's Basketball Championships held in Nashville.  The proceeds benefitted the Kay Yow Breast Cancer Foundation.  Yow was a former basketball coach at North Carolina State University who lost her battle with breast cancer.  Matt Self, Managing Director of Northwestern Mutual - Green  Hills, gave the opening remarks to a crowd of over 1,000 people participating in the race events.
